InnovaCare Health has been a leader in managed healthcare services for quite some time. Based out of Fort Lee New Jersey, the company has strived to ensure their clients receive the best possible medical care possible, dedicated to its mission to “redefine healthcare management to meet the challenges of today’s complex healthcare environment.” The company has always stood firm in their values before as their clients can attest, but as with any company that changes leadership, there is a certain level of anxiety as the new leadership shapes their vision for the future of the company. InnovaCare Clients have little to fear though, they are in good hands.
Since 2012, InnovaCare has been under the competent, trusted guidance of Richard Shinto, M.D. Under that tutelage, InnovaCare continued to provide affordable, sustainable healthcare via Medicaid and Medicare programs in Puerto Rico. In 2014, InnovaCare and Dr. Shinto won the prestigious “Access to Caring Award” for expanding access to Health Care for thousands of people in Puerto Rico. Dr. Shinto continues to ensure that the patients come first, and that the required healthcare needed by so many is not only affordable, but grounded in the innovative practices and quality medical care of this advanced age.Dr. Shinto’s success comes as no surprise, given his twenty years of experience in medicine and management. Prior to becoming the Chief Executive Officer for InnovaCare, Dr. Shinto served as the Chief Executive Officer at Aveta, Incorporated as well.
The “Access to Caring Award” was not Dr. Shinto’s only accolade either, having also been awarded the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2012, further reinforcing his excellence in business and management. One good leader is never enough though, it takes a team of all stars to run a successful company at the level of InnovaCare Health, and in July 2016 Dr. Shinto expanded that all-star cast.According to Businesswire.com, in July 2016 InnovaCare Health added three new team members to their roster making the last year a particularly successful one. Jonathan Meyers was named Chief Actuary Officer, Mike Sortino was named the Chief Accounting Officer, and if the success of these two was not enough, Penelope Kokkinides was named the Chief Administrative Officer. The future may always be in motion and businesses may rise and fall, but at least one thing is for sure; with such an all-star group InnovaCare Health cannot go wrong.
